Removed from combat for over a decade, an American Iraq war veteran battles domestic foes before being reactivated by a dark branch of U.S. intelligence and ordered to recover missing U.S. intelligence documents. An embarrassing global disruption is about to occur, which the powers that be wish to avoid at all costs while other government entities want the truth exposed. FADE IN:
PRESENT - DAY.
One evening, while trying to hold together his ever-fractured family, ex-Army officer L.G. Spence has a violent encounter with the Russian Syndicate's band of brothers, the Zolslevskys.
The next day, L.G.'s family members vanish. U.S. intelligence espionage officers from a very dark branch of government visit L.G. and question him about a 12-year-old Baghdad assignment gone wrong, and they want answers.
By a very high directive from this top espionage division, L.G. is reluctantly reactivated as an agent and finds himself reliving grim aspects of his military past as he attempts to uncover the missing documents.
As the story unfolds--L.G. begins to recall the intelligence and topographical pathway to the missing materials, who's behind the new interest, and the patriotism that motivates them.
